Believe in Yourself

who we are

Ozioma Okoro Caring Hands Foundation (OOCHF) is a nonprofit organization established in 2021 with CAC/IT/NO:159709. It all started as the brainchild and vision of Ozioma Okoro. As a survivor of domestic abuse, Ozioma made it her calling to help vulnerable girls, women and children, especially survivors of domestic abuse, gender-based violence and social neglect.

As a fully-registered organization, we rely on the selfless efforts of a dedicated team, able volunteers, and community organizers to coordinate and execute charitable projects within Nigeria, with the view to further expand our reach within the next few years.

Domestic violence and abuse are critical social issues that significantly affect women and girls, especially in impoverished societies with inadequate access to quality care for victims. Children are also often affected by the consequences of these issues. At our foundation, we believe in addressing these issues by creating safe spaces for survivors and also providing supportive structures for their empowerment and protection.
